At the end of the fiscal year, INL had more than 370 active licenses on technologies with patents, copyright assertions or open source software rights held by INL researchers. Licensees include domestic and foreign business, universities, laboratories, governments, and other industry partners. NEW LICENSING ACTIVITIES DURING FY 2015-2020 AHA uses machine-learning-enabled processes to collect data 100 autonomously from structured and unstructured sources. By doing that, it frees infrastructure emergency managers from the task of gathering and entering data themselves. Managers 80 can simulate the loss of an infrastructure component within any framework to understand cascading effects that might impact downstream services. As more information is collected, AHAs 60 models evolve and become more effective.WindSim Power Line 40 WindSim announced the release of WindSim Power Line (WPL), a tool based on the INL-developed General Line Ampacity State Solver (GLASS). As a dynamic line rating solution, WPL enables 20 transmission owners to utilize their transmission lines more efficiently by having a real-time view of the true capacity of their transmission line assets. It computes thermal interactions 0 using the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 201520162017201820192020 standard for calculating the current-temperature relationship of bare overhead conductors. Because WPL provides full visibility of transmission line conditions, it is a cost-effective, scalable CopyrightPatentOSSoption for increasing situational awareness of a transmission system, reducing the risk of line sag-induced faults and outages.10'
