With the reduction of travel time and reduced registration fees, the team added more events, resulting in greater interaction with more schools and students. In the first four months of the FY, the recruitment team attended 67 events with 44 different universities. Four of these were National Lab Day events, at Oregon State University, Texas A&M University, University of New Hampshire and University of Michigan. 41% of universities visited were Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) or had MSI campuses. 60% of universities visited had a diversity index greater than 50.Shoshone-Bannock tribal outreachSupporting Inclusion &University Partnerships has worked with the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Diversity leadership to promote INL opportunities to university and college Targeted recruiting efforts forstudents.
